Mike Emery: Democratizing Grassroots Sports
Today's Halftime Snack features Mike Emery — a former sales and marketing director from Oslo in Norway.
Mike's an entrepreneur who's passionate about sports and technology, but he's driven primarily to improve the industry's quality worldwide.
He's the CEO of Joymo, a game-changing streaming platform for clubs, athletes, fans, and coaches, where they can film games and training, store content, sell access to fans, and so much more.
He's also the founder of World At Play — a charity foundation that works to inspire and develop young people through sports.
In our snack, we talked about Joymo and traditional sports broadcasting, the DTC & media business, the role of data in 2021, the democratization of grassroots sports, and more.
